DANCE AND ACRO CLASSES FOR KIDS AGES 4 - 11
GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION
LOH Dance: MINI MOVERS (ages 4-6)
When: Tuesdays: 4:30pm-5:30pm, March 11 – April 14 (5 Weeks)
Where: Depew Community Center, 570 Gould Ave., Depew, NY 14043
Instructor: Timmy Goodman, LOH choreographer & performer
Dancers will march, gallop, and roll... jump, twirl, wiggle, and giggle while using our imaginations to go on exciting adventures. Fine and gross motor skills are developed through the use of music, dance, props, and games. This class will be used as an introduction to movement and to set the foundation for acro-dance. This class is a fun introduction for young dancers and an excellent way for children to improve listening and learning skills, build self-confidence, and feel a sense of accomplishment!

LOH Dance: MOVE AND GROOVE (ages 7-11)
When: Tuesdays: 5:30pm-6:30pm, March 11- April 14 (5 Weeks)
Where: Depew Community Center, 570 Gould Ave., Depew, NY 14043
Instructor: Timmy Goodman, LOH choreographer & performer
This class inspires creativity, musicality, and the fundamentals of jazz and acro-dance. Jazz dance introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary for a fun, upbeat and expressive way of moving while Acro-dance will incorporate flexibility, contortion, balance, and tumbling skills. The combination of styles will create a fun and well-rounded introduction to dancing. Through the use of games, props, dance and music students will develop coordination, strength, dance technique, rhythm, and body awareness. This class is an excellent way for children to feel a sense of accomplishment and gain self-confidence!

DRAWING & PAINTING CLASSES FOR DEPEW STUDENTS AGES 13 - 17
Program Description
The art class will kick off with an exploration of dry medium materials, offering an exciting gateway into the world of creative expression. Students will learn the art of drawing with precision, capturing the essence of real-life objects and people. Along the way, they’ll dive into the fundamental elements and principles of design, unlocking the secrets behind visually stunning compositions. From exploring shading techniques to harnessing the magic of light sources, each lesson builds their artistic toolkit. Once their foundational skills are solid, students will unleash their creativity, infusing their unique vision and flair into their creative work.

Erasers
Watercolor pencils – they can be used either dry or wet
Charcoal sticks
Drawing paper and charcoal paper
Once the dry drawing lessons have been completed, we will begin wet media lessons. These
lessons will also use props, such as skeletons and wooden figure mannequin.
