Al-Anon members are people, just like you, who are worried about someone with a drinking problem. Family members have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others who have faced similar problems.
- Do you worry about how much someone drinks?
- Do you feel there is no one who understands your problems?
- Do you tell lies to cover up someone else's drinking or what's happening in your home?
- Have you been hurt or embarrassed by a drinker's behavior?
- Do you feel that if the drinker loved you, she or he would not stop drinking?
